Work Vs. Play

I went to Seattle to attend my cousin's wedding today. It was the first time in a long time I'd been to a wedding just to attend. It was nice to just go and enjoy myself. It was also nice to watch another professional at work. They definetly hired a competant professional (which was nice to see.) It irks me to no end when I attend a wedding where they haven't hired on a photographer that does a complete job. I find it harder not to step on toes in that instance.
Not only was he great at taking moments and the posed shots - but he was also a very gracious photographer. I stole my cousin (the bride) away for a moment to take a photo or two of her and he wandered over, took a couple himself, and then asked to see what I had shot, commenting positively. (I don't think he realized I actually knew what I was doing...) He also waved me over to take a few photos from better view points after he was finished. I was doing my best to not get in his way.
Unfortunately, I did only attend the reception because I got incredibly lost on my way to the ceremony itself.

I did, however, get some neat shots that I threw into album pages just for the heck of it...

I had a great time overall - even though I got lost AGAIN trying to get out of Seattle. I know I love that city, but my GPS understands the streets (I think) worse than I do.
