I have the set and the costumes... you just bring the magic! After the session, you will get the opportunity to schedule an ordering appointment one week later to view and order your portraits.

FAQ:

How many costumes do you have?
LOTS! I have at least 2 sets of three matching costume sets, and a few other styles as well. I have costumes in sizes 4-12 to fit most little girls!

What if I have my own costume I want to use?
Awesome! Bring it in!

Can you photograph boys?
Sure I can! If you can get your hands on a Peter Pan outfit, it would look ah-mazing in this setting!

Will you photograph adults?
I do not have any adult costumes available, but I am willing if you provide one!

How much will it cost?
It will be a flat rate that includes the session and ONE 5x7 picture. This session fee will be PER child. If you have more than one child, you will have to schedule more than one appointment, but I will throw in a group* pose with a free 5x7.
*no more than 3 children at a time

When will I be able to schedule an appointment?
I will be announcing the final details to my VIPs (ie: you) at the end of this month, and opening appointments up for everyone else on September 1st.

What if I want more than just a 5x7?
I have great packages set up at lower-than-normal rates. These make great gifts, so make sure you get enough to share the love!

Event under way...

I've been spending a lot of my spare time prepping for this awesome event I have planned for October. While October seems far away, I have this month to gather all the stuff and take promo shots, and next month to advertise.

I'm so excited about the event that I'm having trouble not spilling the beans to everyone! But the element of surprise is also one of my favorites... I can't wait! It's going to be super fun!

Preview - Johanna and Bo Pinnell Family Photos

Johanna and Bo are the cutest couple! They got married in Georgia and wanted some post-wedding family photos before they moved to Italy. The family was a lot of fun and we caught some great moments.

We shot these on a very sunny day. They picked a GORGEOUS spot - Collette's Bed and Breakfast. I could have just cozied in the building by the huge windows or wandered around the gardens forever. Here's a quick preview of some of the pictures we shot...

Preview - Tiosha Senior Portraits

I had a lot of fun with this session - Tiosha is a very sweet and down to earth girl and she's awesome in front of the camera!

Tiosha came all the way out from Eastern Washington to have her photos shot (she has family in this area, so it wasn't unusual for her to come out our way) but she wanted something different than what the rest of her classmates would have so she decided on Hollywood Beach.

We shot these on a very sunny day. We got to shoot around the families playing in the water and the concert-at-the-pier, but it wasn't all that difficult. :) Here's a quick preview of some of the pictures we shot...

So - to start completley off topic of my actual post, but in relation to my title: has anyone seen Katy Perry's new video? I'm adoring it! The song is pretty catchy, too.

I've been keeping busy as a little bee, burning the midnight oil on the two sessions I shot last weekend. I'll have previews up very very soon - I'm extremely excited about these sessions! Partly because I discovered the joy of shooting in RAW format, but also I just had such great people to work with me (both in front of and behind the camera.) Also, the programs I use in my system now make everything more streamlined than any sessions I've done before - I'm not having to put as many blisters onto my clicking finger to make these portraits as gorgeous as my customers deserve!
Also, I'm exctied for the ordering sessions. Again, the programs I have for the process makes everything so much more simple I can hardly believe it.

It's  been nice to unwind in front of the computer these past few evenings. My 9 to 5 has been taking a toll on my soul this week, as well as my son getting sick and having to take my boyfriend to the ER today. Long stories all around, but everyone is doing better, now. :)

Coming up on the photography front: weddings, babies, and more portraits - oh my!

I'm also working on a different blog format, so be keeping an eye out for that as well. :)

Summer - YAY!

It's that time of year again! Time for Summer fun in the sun!

It's Officially Summer!
Days at the beach and afternoons at the park. The barbeques are all fired up and the marshmallows are being roasted for s'mores. Birds sing when the sun shines, and the crickets chirp while the stars twinkle - this is my favorite time of year. It's a season of new beginnings! Weddings, a new class of Seniors are about to move in, and freshly graduated Seniors are about to move out! This is a great time for documenting all the changes that summer brings - and we're off to a great start!
